Artist's Chairs

What is the Best Active Chairs for Artists Who Paint or Draw for Hours?

When it comes to painting or drawing, artists require a chair that provides them with comfort and support, as well as the flexibility to move around easily. The best chair for an artist will depend on their personal preferences and the nature of their work. However, there are some features that are particularly important for an artist's chair.

One of the most important features is adjustability. The chair should be height-adjustable, allowing the artist to adjust the height to suit their needs and the height of their work surface. The chair should also have a tilting seat and backrest that can be adjusted to provide support and comfort for the artist's back and neck.

Another important feature is comfort. The chair should have a well-padded seat and backrest that provide cushioning and support for the artist's body. The seat should also be wide enough to allow the artist to move around easily and comfortably.

In addition to adjustability and comfort, the chair should also be stable and durable. The chair should have a sturdy base and wheels that can move smoothly on the floor. The chair should also be made from high-quality materials that can withstand regular use. One chair that is popular among artists is the SpinaliS Apollo chair. This chair is highly adjustable and can be customized to fit the individual needs of the artist.

Review on SpinaliS Apollo Series Chair for Active Sitting by a Canadian Artist, Brandy Saturley

Review on SpinaliS Apollo Chair by Canadian Artist Brendy Saturley

"In 2014, I had major surgery for cervical cancer and had difficulty getting my core muscles back and experienced numerous issues with back and neck pain. Between my job as a full-time artist (painter and photographer), old injuries, and this surgery, I was struggling with neck stiffness and back pain. I am an active person and maintain my health through exercise, acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, but the thing that was causing me the biggest issue was the days I was working at my computer. I was looking for a solution and a more supportive chair, and I am happy to say that I found it with Spinalis. I have been using my Apollo chair since May 2017 and I must say it is the best chair I have ever owned. Not only has it helped with rectifying my posture as it pushes me upward and forward, it no longer allows me to lazily slouch while I am working. It is impossible to sit ‘badly’ in this chair and am at the point now where I am almost unable to tolerate other chairs, as most chairs have slant backs and offer limited to no lumbar support. The whole process from dealing with Janette from ordering, to delivery, was a breeze and a pleasure, she cares about her customers and has an undeniable passion for the product she represents. I would not hesitate to recommend the Spinalis chair to anyone who is looking for a healthier back and a healthier life. This chair is well worth the investment, it is an investment in your health and without it, you have nothing." says Brandy Saturley. Source: https://www.facebook.com/brandy.saturley
